TOWN OF CLAY LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Clay will hold a Public Hearing on February 2, 2026, commencing at 7:47 P.M., local time, to consider the application of Town Board Case #1244: NEXAMP, INC, d/b/a LONG BRANCH STORAGE, LLC., for a Utility Substation Special Permit pursuant to Section 230-27 I.(2)(e)[1][a]  - Utility Substation and Section 230-27 I.(2)(e)[1][i] - Other public utility uses, to allow for a proposed battery energy storage system (BESS) utilizing Tesla Megapack batteries and an interconnection to the National Grid distribution system on property located on Long Branch Road, Tax Map No. 104.-02-09.1, consisting of +/- .78 acres of land. The property is located in the RC-1 Regional Commercial District. At such time all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Clay will hold a Public Hearing on February 2, 2026, commencing at 7:44 P.M., local time, to consider the application of Town Board Case #1243: NEXAMP, INC, d/b/a WETZEL STORAGE, LLC., for a Utility Substation Special Permit pursuant to Section 230-27 I.(2)(e)[1][a]  - Utility Substation and Section 230-27 I.(2)(e)[1][i] - Other public utility uses, to allow for a proposed battery energy storage system (BESS) utilizing Tesla Megapack batteries and an interconnection to the National Grid distribution system on property located at 4664 Wetzel Road, Tax Map No. 087.-01-12.0, consisting of +/- .92 acres of land. The property is located in the I-1 Industrial 1 District. At such time all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard.

New 2026 Water Rates (for those not serviced by OCWA)

Attached are the 2026 Water Rates for residents in the Town of Clay that are not serviced by OCWA.

2026 Trash/Recyclable Flyer

See attached 2026 Trash/Recyclable flyer from Superior Waste. It is preferred that you put your trash and recycles out the night prior to your scheduled collection day. If this is not possible, be sure it is out prior to 6am.

***Please be advised if you previously rented a trash tote from Butler Disposal, they will be going through Clay to collect them as they are no longer the rubbish hauler for the Town. For pro-rated reimbursement, please call Butler Disposal directly at (315) 342-0832.

You may rent a trash and recyclable tote from Superior Waste for $150 for a term of 5 years (or one tote for $75 for a term of 5 year). You may also contact them to set up door-side pickup. They can be reached by phone at (315) 672-3174.***

My sincere thank you to the residents of the Town of Clay for re-electing me as your Town Supervisor.  Your vote confirms the confidence and support you have entrusted in me, and I am honored to continue to serve. I look forward to the coming year as it will bring with it many changes that will impact us all.  Before us is the opportunity to embrace the future and to ensure that our community will evolve and grow because of our shared commitment to the Town we all call home. I look forward to improving a quality of life in Clay that will have a lasting impact on current and future generations for years to come.  I sincerely thank you for your support and look forward to working with you as a distinct Town of Clay emerges in the year(s) to come.
